The birth of “A Hat or a Boa?” ring and its routes

Coincidences are made to spice up our lives. Oringo`s first directly book-inspired jewel came up from two different drawings living on a same book spread. Somehow they connected in the mind of our designer, Helena Maslova.

Placing the image on the inner side of the ring was also not a planned thing but an intention. How do others see us? Actually, they don`t. Nothing more than image. The rest (and the best) part of ourselves can be seen only with a heart.

Due to its intimacy and hidden side, “A Hat or a Boa?” turned out to be popular soulmates` ring and wedding band. Friends and couples from all over the world choose “A Hat or a Boa?” ring as a symbol of their feelings.

We have a special offer on ring`s pair at the Etsy shop:

“A Hat or a Boa?” ring is a perfect pick for your first jewel. Personally, I have never worn a ring on a daily basis before I tried this one. Lightweight, clean-looking and comfortable it goes well with any outfit and is always there to remind me about my inner child.

Finally, “A Hat or a Boa?” ring was a reason to start making jewelry inspired directly by books. Two years after the premiere of the ring, we have made a significant collection of unique silver jewelry showing the love to our favorite writers, including more jewels inspired by Antone de Saint-Exupery.
